Whether you’re planning a romantic break for two, a family getaway, a few days away with friends or simply somewhere to switch off from everyday life, The Vu Pod gives you the space to settle in, slow down and enjoy Shetland at your own pace.
At the heart of the pod is a bright, open-plan living space made for spending time together. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for an easy breakfast before a day exploring, a quick lunch between adventures or a relaxed evening meal back at the pod.
Alongside the kitchen, the living area is a cosy place to put your feet up after a day outdoors. Settle into the corner sofa, switch on the Smart TV, connect some music through the Bluetooth speakers or gather around the dining table and plan what tomorrow might bring.
The sofa also converts into a double bed, giving The Vu Pod plenty of flexibility for families and groups.
When it’s time to call it a night, there are two separate bedrooms waiting for you.
The main bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed and its own Smart TV, but the real highlight is the patio doors leading straight outside, perfect for stepping out into the fresh Shetland air first thing in the morning or enjoying the view at the end of the day.
The second bedroom has two single beds, making it ideal for children, friends or additional guests.
With the sofa bed in the living area, The Vu Pod can comfortably sleep up to six people, while still feeling cosy enough for a peaceful couples’ escape.
The bathroom is modern, warm and practical, with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail ready for you after a day on the beach, walking the coastline or exploring further afield.
You’ll also have WiFi throughout the pod, USB charging points and all the little comforts that make it easy to settle in from the moment you arrive.
The Vu Pod is somewhere to come back to after a day of exploring, somewhere to spend a lazy morning when the weather turns, and somewhere to simply enjoy having some time away.
